Welcome to Storage Belgravia. By utilizing our storage services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure a clear understanding of our policies.
1. General Terms
1.1 Acceptance of Terms
By renting storage space from Storage Belgravia, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1.2 Eligibility
Customers must be at least 18 years old and possess the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
2. Rental Agreement
2.1 Term
The rental agreement commences on the date the rental begins and continues on a monthly basis until terminated by either party with a 30-day written notice.
2.2 Payment
Rent is due on the first day of each month. Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other accepted methods. Late payments may incur additional fees.
2.3 Security Deposit
A security deposit equal to one month's rent is required upon signing the rental agreement. This deposit will be returned at the end of the rental period, subject to deductions for any damages or unpaid fees.
3. Use of Storage Units
3.1 Permitted Items
Customers may store household goods, business inventory, vehicles, and other personal items. Prohibited items include hazardous materials, perishable goods, and illegal substances.
3.2 Access
Access to storage units is available 24/7. Customers are responsible for securing their own keys and maintaining the security of their units.
3.3 Maintenance
Customers must keep their storage units clean and free from pests. Storage Belgravia reserves the right to inspect units periodically.
4. Prohibited Activities
- Storing hazardous or illegal items.
- Using the storage unit for commercial purposes without prior consent.
- Altering or modifying the storage unit structure.
- Subletting the storage space without authorization.
- Conducting any unlawful activities on the premises.
5. Liability
5.1 Limitation of Liability
Storage Belgravia is not liable for loss, damage, or theft of stored items unless caused by the company's negligence. Customers are encouraged to obtain insurance for their belongings.
5.2 Indemnification
Customers agree to indemnify and hold Storage Belgravia harmless from any claims arising out of the use of the storage facilities.
6. Termination
6.1 Termination by Customer
Customers may terminate the rental agreement by providing a 30-day written notice. All items must be removed by the termination date.
6.2 Termination by Storage Belgravia
Storage Belgravia reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement for non-payment, violation of terms, or any other breach of contract, with appropriate notice.
7. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Storage Belgravia operates.
8. Amendments
Storage Belgravia reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the relevant arbitration association.
10. Miscellaneous
10.1 Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the customer and Storage Belgravia regarding the use of storage services.
10.2 Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
10.3 Waiver
The failure of Storage Belgravia to enforce any right or provision of these terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
